Other things to do with buttons
Aug. 1st, 2006 10:59 pmMaja just ate a button. A metal button from one of my early 14th century cottes. I had removed some of the buttons because I was removing some metallic ribbon that I had decided looked to modern. So the buttons were on the table and she took one. She's a big girl who often plays with small things and has anyway never choked on anything, so I let her have it for a while. Well, after a while she came and asked for another one. We asked where the first one was and she said "in the mouth". Since it wasn't in the mouth anymore we asked were it was now and after a while she told us that "Maja ate it". It's not very big and it's not sharp so I guess it will come out the natural way eventually.
And no, she didn't get another button.
And no, she didn't get another button.
