And boy, am I happy! Finally some nice/fun clothes.
I did some shopping on saturday. I only intended to buy tights that actually fit me, because I was going to wear a skirt at the party. So first I went to H&M and found some mama tights. When I was there I discovered that their tartan mama trousers were on sale (ca 12$ or something like that). I had looked at them earlier, when they were not on sale, and decided that three times that price was too much for a pair of trousers I couldn't use after the baby was born (I already have a pair of jeans that are just fine). But now it was just too good to pass, even though I probably won't be able to wear them for more than four weeks or so.
After that I went to Lindex (ladies' clothes chain that specializes in underwear and stockings/tights/socks, but also has other clothes) to see if they had a nice top to wear with the tartan trousers. I never got that far however, because I discovered that they had tartan tights and striped over knee stockings!!! The tights will have to wait until I get "normal" again, but I bought one pair of red/black striped stockings, one pair that was striped in all the colours of the rainbow and finally a pair that was striped in two shades of pink. The latter was more of an impulse, because the woman at the counter told me you could get three for the price of two so I ran back and had to choose quickly. But they will be nice with a black skirt and my top that is striped in pink (maybe more like fuchsia) and black. As soon as I can get in to one of my black skirts again.
Now I just wish I didn't have to have special shoes because of my arthritis. All these things look so much better with Doc Marten's or Converse (or similar, but cheaper) boots/shoes.
At least I can "look like myself", even if I'm pregnant.
