Noise disturbances

To quote my favourite TV-series, "Thin Blue Line" with Rowan Atkinson:"I'm gonna shoot some bloody students!"
For some reason the students believe that walls and doors are totally soundproofed here and that it's perfectly okay to stand 30 people just outside my room and talk and shout to each other for 20 minutes. It's almost impossible to work when they make that much noise, especially since I had to get up at five o'clock this morning because my body hurt too much to stay in bed. I needed to get some painkillers and to sit up (and force myself to breath high up in the chest, to get rid of the stiffness) for an hour before my back and ribcage started to be tolerable again. Then it was just half an hour left 'til we had to get up and get the girls to school.
I try not to think of students as a nuisance, not even when they block the whole hallway, but these aren't even our students, they come from another department (yes, I know I'm being silly now, but it would have been more tolerable if they had been ours).

If it happens again, what you need to do is open the door and bellow at the top of your lungs, "Quiet! I'm pregnant and moody, so don't push me!!"
