Dancing with Wayne Rooney?

Jake Shears, the singer in Scissor Sisters apparently fancies british footballer Wayne Rooney. He is reported to have said that he'd "rather dance with him than with his girlfriend".
Depending on Wayne Rooney's girlfriend he may have a point. I have no idea who he's with but there are some pretty awful examples of footballers' girlfriends in Britain. Cheap and stupid are words that spontaneously come to mind.
But for dancing, I would choose the girlfriend, since british guys of Rooney's type and dancing just don't go that well together. But seriously, I think Jake should reconsider the whole dancing thing. On the other hand; dancing with Wayne Rooney will beat discussing, say, post-modernism with him any day.
But if I really should be doing something with Wayne Rooney I would prefer having tea with his mum, or possibly watching football together. I thought about drinking first, but I'm really not that amused by totally pissed footballers, regardless of nationality.

I saw the scissor sisters on Saturday Night Live on tv, and ended up buying the cd from just that. It's a great cd and Jake is totally flaming. Which would explain why he'd rather dance with a guy than a girl... But gee, I think he's grand. :D
