Where is the guy who's going to pick up the plates?

The people I rented the plates for the party from were going to come and get them at 8.30. So I hurried here after leaving Maja at the daycare and now I'm sitting here waiting, tied to my room, since I have to hear the phone ring.
It's now almost nine, at ten past I will call them. I want to have a cup of tea and then I need to get home to study for a lecture I'm giving in Malmö in the south of Sweden next monday.

Edited Apparently it was nine. A cute and pleasant guy just picked them up.

What kind of lecture is it? And if it's public, should I nudge friends/family towards it?

It's a part of a course called "The image/perception of the Middle Ages" so it's not public.
