The day of the dead, when the year also dies

Today I remember my grandmothers who died three and two years ago respectively.
I remember my grandfathers who died over ten years ago.
I remember my friend Björn, who was also my friend Annaa's husband.
I remember my friend Tord who died in 1989, only 17 years old.

I remember great people who I did not know personally, but who's spirits and work made the world a better place for others:
I remember Sten Andersson, swedish social democrat, who died this year
I remember Olof Palme, swedish prime minister and social democrat, who died ten years ago.

Tonight I light a candle for them and later, after Maja has gone to bed I will travel through the veil and see if I can meet some of them.
