frualeydis: (folkdrakt)

Tomorrow I'm going to a colleague and friend's wedding. I'm not invited to the party (she has a huge family and limited space). But I'm going to the actual ceremony; it will be my first catholic wedding. And of course I'm going to wear my folk costume. It doesn't have any winter garments, but I'm going to use the knitted shawl I got from [livejournal.com profile] haugtussa's mother. It's made after shawl from the early 19th century so it shouldn't be so out of style. I hope it doesn't rain.
On sunday our medieval group have its christmas party and I'm looking forward to it. All I need to do is finish shortening Valeria's dress and make some food to bring, since it's a potluck. I don't know what to wear yet, but since I have more garb than anybody needs, that hardly is a problem.
