This really takes me back. We have no little girls in our household anymore (it's all little boys now!) but when I was little we used to celebrate St Lucia (first me, then my little sister) in our house. My mother made our wreaths, and we actually wore candles (yes, ouch, I got wax in my hair more than once. Even with the little wax-catchers on the clip-in candle-holders we used). I think mom even made the bread, but I mostly recall wearing candles on my head in a crown made of greenery.

It's very nice to see a modern St.Lucia wreath. Makes me a little envious of modern girls :)
