Wearing 18th century underwear (shift + stays) makes me feel incredibly sexy. According to the resident expert I am too :)

I am currently trying on the first mock-up for my 18th c outfit.

I need to try this at home! But in order to do that, I need to make a shift, and before I can do that, I need to do some pattern research.

I think I used the shift pattern from Hunnisett. But it's really basic rectangular construction, with short sleeves and a wide neckline.
