New year's party

armillary, herzeloyde and her bf Kristian. This year, unusually, the big girls were with their dad. Usually we have them, even if it's not "our turn", since we don't go to any New Year's parties anyway.
Mine, Rickard's and the kids way of celebrating New year's together goes back to 1997, when the twins were 3,5 and we had a three course meal and wine glasses with soft drinks. I try to set the table nicely and use my grandmother's linen table cloth and my greta-grandmother's china.
I think it was three years ago that the rest of the gang joined our celebrations, but it may have been earlier.
This year I didn't do any cooking, which was good since I was in a lot of pain yesterday. I just set the table.

Oh, and I managed to hem and sew lace to my elbow ruffles during the party, now I just need to gather them to a band of fabric.
And another thing I like, that since I washed dishes yesterday and I went up at eight allt he furniture was in their original place and the kitchen and living room vacuumed before 8.30.
