Back-up done

New year's eve and yesterday I made back-up copies of all my photos taken after December 15th 2005. It took hours. But now I feel much safer, I would hate loosing one year of photos of my family. I know I should do this more often, but at least it's done now.
I also burned a CD with my web site, for the unlikely occasion that both my computer and ComHem's server should crash at the same time.

Well done. I need to do that sort of thing - eg get EVERYTHING on my PC (files that is not executable programs) onto my external hard drive.

I've just discovered that mspaint.exe has completely and inexplicably disappeared and I have no idea where its gone!!! Very odd.

Thanks for the tip of backing up to the external HD! I just bought one a few weeks ago. Much easier than burning DVDs.

Just keep the external HDD clean though - very easy to damage it if its not (says Bess who has hers sitting in a basket with all the other PC dongly things!!). ;-)

Exemplary behaviour!
I need to do the same. Also, I want to make prints of the best photos to put in photoalbums as well. But it is a lot to go through, and more series come on almost a daily basis.

Oh, that will never happen. I haven't even made an album from our sedding yet; and that was in 2003.

Yay! I've been burned on the web site thing -- had to do some reconstructions based on The WayBackMachine! Never again.

And there are more copies of my dissertation around .......

And I gotta organize my paintings .....
