My application for research funds

As you may recall my application for research funding was discussed in our women's seminar/support group last friday. I got lots of really good, constructive criticism. The problem is that it made feel like the whole thing sucked and now I don't know where to start with the changes. I made lots of notes of course, but I think I would need more than 7 days to make these changes (especially since I can't sit long periods and write because of my back). And I said some really good things that I never got written down and people had really good ideas, but I don't know how to work them into the application. But I know I have to make those changes to really get through with what the purpose of the proposed project is.
I know how to get through with this, one little thing after the other, but some of the changes are rather big.

Feeling the same way about a paper I am writing...not nearly as important, but I am finding it very difficult to get finished. There are so many other things that I can get accomplished and see tangible progress.
