Inner goth?

You know, people have claimed for years that everybody has an inner goth. Well not me, inner punk rocker? definitely, inner hippie? Yep! But inner goth? No way! Goth culture encompasses everything I don't like: Black clothing, plastic clothing, drama, more drama, self-created angst, bad poetry and melodramatic behaviour. Not to mention a will to be miserable. That doesn't mean that I don't like those of my friends who identify with goth culture. Just because I don't like goth culture doesn't mean it's bad, or even that I think it's bad. It just means that I don't personally like it. And I'm not the source of all wisdom y'know ;) Heck, I like a lot of things other people run away screaming from (weird 16th century headwear, anything matronly, pastel pink, 4 inch heels, 80s heavy metal and chick peas to name a few).
But, to get back on track: Maybe there is an inner goth in me after all, because I sort of like these:

I had ugly feet even before my toes got deformed by arthritis, so I won't wear anything as open as this, but I still think they're cool.

Scary thought, that.
