I've defeated the codpiece

Well, at least being tied to the home with an ill little girl means that I actually got around to making a codpiece. Not having slept enough tonight makes me too tired to do anything around the house, and besides Maja wants me to sit in the sofa with her all the time. So hand sewing is a good thing to do. Which means that I coudn't put off making the dreaded codpiece anymore.
This one is by far the best of the three codpieces I've made this far. I don't think it's perfect, (or maybe it's just that I think that codpieces look silly), but it looks okay and it fits in the pants.
So I guess third time's a charm?

what do you stuff yours with?

i've only made one and that one was stuffed with polyester fluff, wich made it a bit too soft and fluffy i think...

I used polyester fluff too. I thought of using wool, but I want to be able to wash the pants (by hand) without the fluff felting.

The one I made was meant to house a small metal bottle of whiskey. So I kinda skipped the whole stuffing thing. Although I ended upp stuffing the puffs slightly so they'd be poufier.

The one that I've made, and re-made and need to re-make again, I stuffed with polyester fluff. If only leave a small opening and pack it in with a pencil or small wooden dowel you can pack it in pretty firmly.
