The hat is finished!

I will add a hat jewel and probably a small naturally beige ostrich feather, but otherwise I like it. The hat band is btw berry red and not fuchsia.

Now my fingers are hurting more than one can possibly imagine, from both ends of the needle and generally from sewing through very stiff buckram.

He's not that fond of posing for the camera. And we both have a look that looks a litle sad when we don't smile. In his case because of his eyes slanting downwards and in mine because my mouth points downwards in the corners. That's why I always smile on photos.
