I can't believe that it was less than two years ago that I told [livejournal.com profile] sarahbellem that I really wasn't interested in shoes!!

Anyway, behind this cut are a few shoes I would love to have. Not necessarily enough to buy them, I will have to spend quite a lot on fabric because of my mastership test in the Nordrike tailor's guild.

They come in a gold colour too. I wonder if they could be used for some historic period. The clumsy heel probably destroys that possibility though.

They come in gold with black straps too

They come in pale gold/"champagne" too

I think I've shown these before, haven't I?

If that post doesn't prove that women are from another planet, nothing will.

The first pair could be 1920s except for the heel being so chunky.

Oh yes! I've never seen tehm before, but look at these (http://www.fluevog.com/code/?w%5B0%5D=attribute%3AWomens&w%5B1%5D=order%3Afresh&pp=1&view=detail&p=2&colourID=1971), in blue, and these (http://www.fluevog.com/code/?w%5B0%5D=attribute%3AWomens&w%5B1%5D=order%3Afresh&pp=9&view=detail&p=79&colourID=1349) and these (http://www.fluevog.com/code/?w%5B0%5D=attribute%3AWomens&w%5B1%5D=order%3Afresh&pp=9&view=detail&p=80&colourID=1347), I would love some green shoes.

But these are expensive, good quality shoes. I mainly buy cheap shoes and a few expensive, high quality pairs that I can have with my specailly made insoles. But I love that they come in so many colours.

I don't think I actually share your taste in shoes... I don't like wedgies, they just look ugly to me. As do most high-heeled shoes, as a matter of fact.

I'm not much of a shoe buyer, since I have very troublesome feet and there are hardly any models I can wear without my feet hurting after a short while. So I've spoiled myself with comfy shoes :)

I didn't like wedgies before either, but they're growing on me. But I don't think it is a love that wil last, so I shouldn't buy lots of shoes with wedgies.

I'm really sceptical about wedgies. I think they will become very unfashionable at some point.

But have you noticed the "bicycle shoes" are back? I had some electric blue ones in the middle of the eighties, and I still have a black pair that I sometimes wear with my regency folk costume if the weather is bad.

Bicycle shoes?
They must have been called something else in swedish. Picures?

I have a pair just like the middle ones--the wedge with the ankle strap!

I love shoes :)

those first ones look so much like the tap shoes I had as a child! the heel wasn't as high, but they were fun to wear.
