A wedding today

Today is my sister's wedding day and in a short while she will arrive here so that I can do her hair (she has lots of hip length light blonde hair, straigth as a stick, but wants it curly and up) and herzeloyde can do her make-up. Then when they leave for photography it's time for me to put on the folk costume, the kids their medieval-ish clothes and Rickard his suit. I think I need to iron his shirt and possibly my smock. Then I should do some warming up of my voice, since I'm singing a solo. And then we'll walk down to the centre and the Laurel house in one of the parks.

Is it common in Sweden to get married on weekdays? In Norway it is usually on a saturday.

Nope. She has some kind of numerological reasons, the figures of the date are the same as for their engagemnet day, but in a different order of course. Yep, she's weird that way ;)

That sounds like a wonderful plan for a wedding; seems much more simple and special than the overdone things that are becoming the norm today :)
