Non-functioning neck and shoulder area
May. 23rd, 2007 02:12 pmI am probably inspired by poor
myladyswardrobe, who has a trapped nerve in her neck, because my entire neck and shoulder area is stiff and inflamed. There is some inflammation on the front side too, but not as bad.
There was also some hangover this morning, but that went away with an extra hour of sleep.
In a n hour or so my friend Carin comes over to discuss 18th century lower class clothing. I hope I will be well enough to sit up for longer times.

Date: 2007-05-23 02:36 pm (UTC)Lower class 18th century. I have a question for you about this, i am on the 18th century womens list, and they say american women lowerclass, wore stays. Is that also something they did in Sweden?
I am not so sertain, that they did this in Denmark. The danish folk costumes wears a "Bul" wich is a tight waistcoat, but there are no bones in it, and some of the waistcoats, has its roots back in 18th century.
I am a little interrested in this, also because it is so difficult to find any sources for it, and they could use some informations at the 1700 fair at Gammel Estrup.
