Look at this dress!
Jun. 27th, 2007 10:27 amI got this pattern in the mail yesterday (I bought it on an internet auction). Isn't it lovely?

It's a size 12 pattern (50s-60s size 12), but there shouldn't be much trouble enlarging it. I mean, after all I can make dresses that fit my rather strangely shaped body from diagrams of preserved 16th century garments or 19th century pattern diagrams. I just work in the same way, using the basic shape and my measurements to make a toile and make it fit me. And this dress really isn't complicated.
Oh, and the lecture is coming along nicely. I'm making a powerpoint presentation to go with it, it's the easiest way to show pictures.
