Biggest rip-off ever!

This is apparently the new trendy thing, worn by "style icons" like Kate Moss and Gwen Stefani. A piece of silver plate with a cut out heart (I bet every SCAdian knows someone who can do that) and some ric-rac ribbon. For 105 £!!!

Uh, I have some silver plate just like that out in my garage. Considering how hard it is to cut curves smoothly with a jewelers saw, my guess is that its punched out, not cut. It would still be doable by hand with a saw, but it would be a lot of snapped blades unless you were really in practice.

I think a large part of the price is in the materials - it's white gold, not silver. But the rest is in the brand, so whatever...
