frualeydisYesterday I finished my three hour lecture on 16th century dress. It's for a one year education in clothing design. I've had on, as you may recall, on ancient and medieval dress and there's six more after this one. I will focus more on the 20th century, since I think that makes most sense for the programme. Anyway, it's finished and so is the accompanying 55 pages PowerPoint presentation.
Today I finished my lecture on 16th century underwear for tomorrow's SCA event(nothing new for the experts on my f-list, but hopefully for my listeners). I did some earlier in the week and then on my travels to an back from the inner forests of the county of Västergötland. The finishing touches are now done, and yesterday I made 30 copies of 12 pages with pictures to be distributed. You see, there is no way to show pictures at the site.
This means that I only need to do some tweaking on one lecture, for the rest of the semester, unless something interesting turns up.
And grade 100 tests.
Maybe, just maybe, after the three week evaluation of my ability to work, which starts on the 5th of October, I will have some time to work on my paper for NESAT and an english article about types of fabric mentioned in Swedish and Norwegian medieval wills.
And sew some mundane skirts that fit the new, thinner me.
