Horrible weather!

It's raining a lot, and in a few minutes I have to go out ant take the tram to the train station.
But at least I will be spending the day indoors, lecturing about 16th century underwear, NOT outdoors wearing armour, like for example armillary.

From my POV, being "outdoors wearing armour" induces more of gleefulness, actually...

If it had rained like it did when I wrote that post, it was sloshing down buckets, you wouldn't have enjoyed being outdoors, even if you were in armour.

There's a mental trick to it - repeating "it's just water" to yourself ... until it is. Of course, having forgotten to pack any spare clothes would have made the rest of the event slightly damp...
