Today's outfit

Cardigan: Zara
Skirt: Thrift store ten years ago
Tights: Lindex, last year (to quote Azriphale:"Tartan is stylish")
Shoes: DinSko

It's probably not obvious in this photo, but with the pointy bra and tight cardigan, pony tail and liquid eyeliner I give a sort of 1950s impression. I also put on bright red lipstick after this photo was taken.
I noticed when going home from my lecture that the hem was loose on the skirt at one place, so I will fix that now.


I also received a package from the swedish mail order company Ellos today; with this dress and this blouse.

Consumer whore, that's me.

Thanks! And we all need tartan socks/tights. I have the tartan wool anklets from SockDreams and I adore them.

I wish I could buy clothes on mail order, but I don't seem to have the right kind of body.

My body is weirder than yours, I'm quite sure. But I can buy certain stuff: things from knitted fabrics and some blouses, but trousers are just impossible and skirts are usually not a good idea either.

Yeah, I've been thinking about buying jersey tops and things, but right now the fashion is so weird that most of the stuff I try on in the shops looks horrid on me. I'm going to have to start making my own stuff soon. I just need to work up the energy and inspiration... and I'm still so inexperienced at making clothes that half the time they don't really turn out all that well. Well, I guess there is only one solution for that!

damn how it rained in EVERY direction on the way home.. came home feeling like a drowned cat.. a hungry drowned cat.. luckily the pie I made before I left was AWESOME :) it's in my blood..
I have good pie-making-blood.. ;D
and the meeting was really good too.. thinking of buying a digital taperecorder though.. sometimes you speak even faster than me.. atleast faster than I write.. ;D good thing the kids were home..
