Yesterday I went to the nurse to weigh and measure Maja. She now weighs 5060 grams and is 56 cm tall. That means she has increased her weight with just over a kilo and her length with 4 cm in four weeks. She's growing fast.
The dentist appointment went well and she didn't want food until I got back. I got the huuge cavity fixed and will fix the other, which really isn't a new hole, but an old mending that has loosened or something. Then we will discuss if I should have one of my wisdom teeth removed, since there's still some infection there.
Apart from that there's nothing new, I sleep to little and never have time to sew. valeria has changed her mind and doesn't want a new renaissance dress but a 12th century dress with hanging sleeves like Vendela. It will probably even be in the same fabric, unless I can piece it from the blue wool/cotton I made my 13th century dress from. Rickard doesn't work this weekend so hopefully I can cut the dress and make most of the machine seams during the weekend. But trying to get some more sleep is my top priority. Maja still has her own rhythm that is sleep-eat-be awake for an hour or so, regardless if it's night or day.

Yes, unfortunately old fillings need to be replaced.. sigh... and if you don't get them done in time, they need to be bigger!

*shudder* been there, done that.

Is that fabric a cotton wool mix? How cool. We tend to only get wool/poly mixes... which are always so very rough.

Cotton-wool mixes are very rare here too. I bought it from a factory outlet. The factory specializes in thin wool fabrics and wool blends, mostly with polyester. The reason I bought this cotton/wool blend that probably didn't exist in the middle ages is that it was cheap, c. 4$/metre. But that shop is cheap otherwise too, their very thin wool tabbies cost c. 12$ per meter. Of course the colours are limited by what their ordinary costumers order, but thankfully they seem to like bright colours sometimes and not only grey and beige.
