New Year's resolutions - real ones

No, I won't promise to stop buying clothes, I have already seen four or five things at monki that I would like to try on and see if they fit my body. But I will promise that in 2008 I will:
1. Spend more on alcohol and travelling and less on clothes and shoes. When the urge to shop comes one grabs a pint instead - cheaper and takes up no space in the wardrobe. Sometimes I think my interest in clothes just is a sublimation of my need to go out and have a drink; so why not just go out and have a drink instead?
2. Not buy more fabric before I have made something out of the five-six metres burgundy/purple cotton velvet that lies in my fabric cupboard like a giant blob, threatening to take over the world (ok, I'm exaggerating a bit here). Sewing notions excluded, you can't make anything without them.
