Party - bleh

Today I'm supposed to go to this year's first 40-years birthday party; since I was born in 1968 myself a lot of my friends will turn 40 this year. Even more next year though; for some reason I seem to hang out with people born in 1969. The problem with tonight's party, apart from that it's 100 kilometres away from here in the middle of nowhere, is of course Maja's illness. She's much, much better now, but she woke every half hour or so tonight and I didn't fall asleep until 3.30 and had to get up at 7.40 when she wanted to get up. So I'm not really in a party mood. I would like to sleep and then I would like to work some on my lectures.
But since it's my cousin's birthday party and my mum seems really keen that I should go with her I guess I have to.
