Off to Oslo
Oct. 20th, 2003 11:30 amToday I'm leaving for Norway and Oslo. Three hours ago I didn't think I would make it because my back was hurting so bad, but now I've slept a little more and feel much better.
I'm going to talk about my main source material; wills and other documents from the middle ages and how I use them. Much the same stuff as in the article I wrote to NESAT (a link can be found in an earlier post).
I don't have anything small to sew to bring with me, which is a pity, but i have to read "Gender and romance in Chaucer's Canterbury Tales" anyway. I'm not sure I can read on the bus though. It's a 4 hour ride and I'm afraid I might get motion sick.
It will be strange, not to be ale to check out what my LJ-friends have written for a couple of days but I can still remember a day before LJ so I know I can make it ;).
