I woke up at four and couldn't sleep because of the pain so I went up and took one pill of tramadol (I have to watch it, it's been quite frequent the last month). Then I fell asleep and slept for an hour but when I woke from something I couldn't go to sleep again, a typical side effect of the drug for me. So now I have a strong urge to go back to bed, not to sleep, I don't think I could, but for some serious blanket-cuddling. It would be so lovely, but on the other hand it would be wonderful to be finished with next thursday's lecture on fashion 1930-1965 too.
At three pm I will leave for Mariestad, a small town approx. 200 kilomtres from her, where I will give a public lecture on medieval clothing tonight. I will have to stay the night, because there are no trains that late in the evening and then I will have to rise very early to catch a train so that I am in Gothenburg by 10 am tomorrow.

I'm not sure it could be felt in Sweden - it could have been the toddler-quake next to me too.

I felt the earthquake. My bed started vibrating. I thought it was the drugs sat first but then realised the world was ending. Aren't tramadol lovely? I only discovered them after my last operation and now I love them.

I think that if I wasn't so careful about it Tramadol would be my drug of choice. Of course, it's not a very social drug so I guess that reflects my current life; if you want to be social few things beat alcohol.
