What babies like

frualeydisMaja is asleep and I'm trying to catch up with what's happening on the internet. She really hates to sit in front of the computer, but likes to sit in her babysitter and watch me sew on the machine. Weird but practical.
Now I'm finished with the machine sewing for a while and have also hemmed Valeria's blue dress and put trim on the sleeves. Now there's only the trim around the neck left on her dress. Vendela's dress has all the machine seams done and I count on being finished with it in the beginning of next week. It would have been finished earlier if it wasn't for Kungahalla medeltidsdagar (link only in swedish) that takes place this weekend. It's a nice event (commercial) that takes place in a castle ruin from the 14th century some 15 km or so north of Goteborg. There are merchants, period music and people showing crafts and swordfighting. All of good quality history-wise. I know some of these people so I plan to take Maja and my friend Anna with me and spend both saturday and sunday there, shopping a little (very little since we're broke), talking to friends and listening to music. If it's not raining which it has been doing a lot lately.
It's also a good test on how it will be to be outdoors all day with Maja, without a pram and proper chairs to sit on. My arthritis is starting to be felt again and I sometimes have trouble walking, but it usually sorts itself out after I've moved around a while. Then it just hurts. I hope it won't get worse though because then Visby will be no fun. And if it gets really bad I might have to stop nursing Maja and start taking my medicines again. But I will have to be really ill to consider that, I think she deserves at least a year.
But, as Marymont said, the computer eats up your time, so now I'm going to end this and start sewing.
