Conference and a stupid cold

frualeydisI'm in Linköping, a town in the east of southern Sweden now, where I will attend a conference about recent medieval research at last tenuously connected to that region. It's sort of cool to stay in a hotel by oneself, even if it of course was cooler to be in Berlin than here. On the other hand, there's free internet here :)
My plan today was to work on my funding aplication, but I find that after two meetings at work and four hours travel that I am very tired. I had dinner at a ratehr expensive Indian place and now I have a bottle of not-very-strong czech dark beer and I think that I will blog and surf some more and then I'll drink that beer and watch an episode of the 9th season of America's Next Top Model. I have also got an awful cold and feel slightly feverish.
