Stupid me

After finishing as much as I could of the article I decided that I was too tired to cut out Valeria's new dress, based on the St.Clare tunic. You shouldn't do complicated things when you're too tired; right? So I thought I could continue working on the bodice of my new spring/summer dress. I sewed it together: it was way too large. I made a lot of changes and it worked out reasonably well. All I needed was to make the back piece shorter in the waist. I guess you know what happened: I cut off a piece of the front bodice, which really was a bit short to start with. But I had enough fabric, so I decided to cut a new bodice, the old one can be used for the short sleeve I hope. This time I forgot the seam allowances. So I now have two non-working bodice front pieces and very little fabric left. I think I'll go to bed instead.

Arrgh. That is so annoying. Yeah, I've learnt the hard way not to go on sewing when I'm too tired.
