herzeloyde came over and helped me think while I cut out the front piece and two gores for my recreation of the
St.Clare tunic for the NESAT conference. I'm making it to fit Valeria, since she's coming with us to Visby medieval week. I will make the St. Elisabeth of Thuringia tunic too, but I'm starting with this one. It's proportional to the original, but somewhat larger and longer, since Valeria is now 163 cm tall; Rickard did the math. After cutting, sewing the straight seams and felling them I decided that I was too stressed to even try any more complicated thinking so I continued with my summer dress: the bodice now fits well. I didn't want to use the machine more though, so I picked up Maja's pink satin kirtle and started pinning the turn-up of the hem. I never got to sew on it though, because then it was bed time.
