Name and heraldry stuff
Apr. 11th, 2008 09:01 amYesterday I lured
armillary to our place and in return for dinner, tea and ice-cream I made him help me with my name and device registration for the SCA. So, after writing lots, making copies and using crayons more than I have for a couple of decades. I really like the new version of my arms so I'm really afraid someone else will grab them, or something similar, before me. Of course
armillary has checked for conflict, but there may be a recent registration or application that conflicts. I won't be calm until I know, which is presumed to take about a year. Being anxious about this I won't post it until it's approved and registered.
The name was easy to document, thanks
aeddie for the links. Of course I have other documentation, but it is easier with approved online sources than paper copies of sources that have to be translated because the people who decide don't read either dutch or latin.
