Is that knitted and cut on the diagonal at the front? I know it really increases the vertical stretch but before bouncing with joy I just want to know if that is the case of if thre is some complex knitting pattern involved. Or is the front stocking in fact a bias cut striped fabric?

Absolutely no idea. It's knitted, but there wasn't any more information.
