frualeydis: (16th century)

The second part of my master's test in the Tailor's Guild in Nordrike, my pink 16th century gown, was approved this weekend; so now only one costume remains. Here's a photo of me in it, from the event site. Click on it for a larger photo.

How spooky... I came across a (slightly) bigger version of the church photo (inspirational photo) yesterday, and I wondered when the approval of your dress would take place. Turns out - yesterday! Whoa...

You looks absolutely amazing. As others have said before me, the colour combination is smashing, and the details so good. Major brava!

Beautiful! I'm in awe of all the talent on my flist...and humbled, too.

How did you do the head piece? I'm intimidated by head gear, and need to get over it. Something like that would be very good for hiding my jaw-length modern hair. :)

It's just a cap and a vired veil, like this one (http://web.comhem.se/~u41200125/Anthonismorgown.html) but with a plainer cap and shorter veil.

Hello. I ran across you work a long time ago and I wanted to let you know how much I admired it. I was wondering if you had a more detailed summary of how you acomplised your head gear.

Thank you

Just gorgeous!

Eva, do you have a "dress diary" page for the cap? Those are just gorgeous!

Very sharp, may I inquire as to what you used for boning...if you boned the gown much? It looks like you have 'bodies' on underneath but it all looks so smooth!

Fully boned effigy stays + kirtle with two bones down the centre. The gown only has bones at the front opening.
