They look like they belong to the Shadow Proclamation. All they need are red contact lenses.

I like the dress on the right, but I'd chicken out of the ruff myself.

And look at the bottom of the skirt on the right as well, lovely. Wonder if we're going to see an upsurge in sales of starch.

Michael Kors would say it looked Costumey...I think it looks divine for Avant Gard

A prime example that haute couture isn't actually meant to be wearable, but rather as statement of the vision behind the pret-a-porter line.

Sorry to disappoint you - this is the pret-a-porter line. This is how Gareth Pugh is.

I think they are actually waearable and the one on the right is very attractive)... but on the whole... Not *practical in any form.

But then, neiher were ruffs the first time around- pure fashion with no practical application.

Oh I love it! Look at the underskirt on the right...it looks like a giant ruff fallen over into a skirt. Not sure we'll see these being sported at the local green grocer's, but quite an interesting look. After all...RUFFS! WOOT!! Wonder if farthingales can be far behind... ;>

And they look just as uncomfortable as the originals.
Points for style though.

The front-to-back particoloring is interesting also.

Interesting that the middle outfit actually HAS the lines of an Elizabethan man's outfit. When I saw it at first glance I thought it was meant to be a doublet with Venetians!

Um... what is the target group for these things? Looks like something out of 1980s Doctor Who...
