I woke up half an hour before the alarm clock this morning because of a bad dream that made me cry in my sleep. I dreamt that [livejournal.com profile] armillary died (killed by a lion in Visby no less) and I cried and cried - and then I had to sort through his things and found stuff he had intended for me and I cried even more. Then I woke up and had to think to realize that this had not happened. I still feel a little shocked and sad though.
I think my subconscious isn't as at ease with him moving to the UK as my conscious is.

Ugh! You have my sympathy

I have vivid and real-seeming dreams too, and the bad ones can leave you really shaken.

Hugs

So can premonitions.

Especially when they DO come true!

(Bess remember's caravan smash in 1995 ::shudder:: Had been dreaming about that for FOUR weeks before it happened!)

I haven't had one of them in years, thank goodness.

Where is he moving to?

He ought to do Kentwell but probably won't have a chance to do so this year.

London, and not until summer.

London, or thereabouts. Everything is permanently a little bit up in the air at the moment.

There is at least a reasonable chance of us both attending Kentwell next year. I hope to go their in late summer to visit and get E infected by the Kentwell bug too.

Awwww :/

I only have small lions. No danger of them killing me.
And we *will* be coming back from time to time.

Well, the lions were in Visby.

They have a vicious streak a mile wide, those Visbian lions. And nasty, big, pointy teeth!...

I know. And I vcen't see why the Visby inhabitants should have chosen to build a colosseum where they threw [livejournal.com profile] armillary down in his handsome 16th century outfit.

I HATE dreams like that!!! I had an awful one that Z's boss, who is a personal friend, had drowned, and it was really hard to make myself remember when I woke up that it hadn't really happened. It wasn't a realistic dream in my case, not at all-- he didn't even look like himself when alive in the dream-- but it was still upsetting.
And the details of afterward-- that sounds very unsettling. :( Hopefully your subconscious has worked through it and can give you some nicer things now...
