Thanks to me finishing my checked skirt the other day, so that I could work on other things, and thanks to [livejournal.com profile] bippimalin coming over for tea and crafting yesterday my new 18th century stays are finished now.

Very cool! I like such fabrics very much. The binding also looks so neat. Any good tricks? Mine always looks bumpy, and I can never remember which method gives the best result.

Not really, just that I do both sides by hand, even though I use bias tapa and theoretically could do one side on the machine.
