I have completely (well, sort of) redone the page devoted to my loose kirtle from Patterns of fashion (somehow I managed to keep some of the annoying typos though). But I'm going to take a bath now that my husband is home so that will have to wait until another day. Tonight is craft-evening with Nylöse so I'm going to try to convince him to go with me there (wish me luck!)

Thanks. I'm a bit bothered by the fact that the checked gold fabric isn't period, but I will use it until I get the energy to redo it with gold coloured silk and cord to make the netting. Making a foundation of thick felted wool still is a viable way to give the "net" more body though.

the digitalised version looked just fine, so as long as that one looked fab, an identical one with period fabrics will probably turn out even better... i wouldn't bother too much about htat just yet.

I love that little hood on Maja. Is that some kind of shot fabric or is that the lighting? Adorable!
