I'm still working with the 1563 inventory of the duke and duchess of Finland's clothing and I am amazed by the sheer amount of not only dresses but headwear, partlets, wrist ruffs etc the duchess owned. I feel that my 16th century wardrobe is pathetically unsatisfactory; especially when it comes to accessories.

I doubt that, it contains no emboridered shirts and velvet guards, not to mention wrist ruffs with gold embroidery and spangles. But mine is probably a little sexier ;)

I don't know about the shoes, since they are not individually listed, just as "A box with shoes and soap"! But she doesn't appear to have as mony socks/stockings as I do, no.
