In this photo the dress is finished except for three ribbon bows that hold the edges of the bodice together. It is laced together under, but needs bows, or pins, to keep the edges together. Because Maja is only soon five I opted for anything but pins. Due to her natural lack of a waist I also need to make some kind of arrangement to keep the petticoat at the "waist", and I'm going to put buttons on the inside of the gown and loops on the petticoat. Since Maja isn't that interested in trying on the gown again it may take a while until you get to see it really finished though.

Looks like they still have it for upholstery, but not by the yard where I live. The 'Anneli' looks like a good choice too though.
