What I missed

I couldn't go to the Drachenwald coronation, held at a viking farmstead (a newly made one of course, there are no preserved ones) close to Stockholm, this weekend because of religious obligations. Though obligations is hardly the correct word, it was great. If you choose to become leader of a coven that must come before other kinds of fun.
But it sure does looks like lots fun in these photos (skip thursday night if you think it's too much), and I would have loved to be there when helwig got her Laurel.

The photos are great! Thanks for posting the link to them. (I chuckled at one of the Thursday night ones, which shows several "Vikings" sitting around a table with a decorated laptop.)

I wish I had a coven (or anyone at all) to celebrate with. My boyfriend isn't that into wicca, he is more into shamanism and although they're related to each other, it's not the same. But playing in snow on midsummer day was a nice touch.
