Health update

Still in lots of pain. I managed to give a lecture today, between 10 and 12, and be somewhat social with my colleagues for half an hour after that, but since 1 am it's grown steadily worse. I surrendered to taking tramadol again and hope that some of the pain in my ribcage will cease.

Tomorrow I will make a four and a half hour long trip with trains and buses and on Saturday I will lecture again, at a conference about St Bridget of Sweden before returning home.

You'll get to meet my mom at the conference. Are you going to your class re-union?

I may not go actually, I'm even worse now. But on the other hand I'm in the programme so I have to go.
I can't go to the reunion - to be there in time I would have had to leave before my lecture ended. And spend 8 hours on trains and buses, which would have made me unfit for the party even under normal circumstances.
