This year's first sewing project

So, this first day of the new year I have started on a new project: one of those short, wide 1950s jackets. If I had had some lining material in a matching colour at home I might have finished it too, but alas, I don't. It's from a thin fake zebra (or maybe tiger) fur - if zebras (or tigers) had had shocking pink fur with purple stripes. I plan to make a matching, small pillbox hat too.
