Amazingly the christian fundamentalists who tried to ban Harry Potter books on the grounds that they (the books) taught children magic were right - Maja just asked for a dirty tea cup so that she could practice divination like in Harry Potter and the prisoner from Azkaban, which she is currently watching on DVD.

Good for her. :)

If the magic actually *works* is of course a different matter. :)

Yest, the fundies are right.
The Harry Potter books do teach children that it's right to study magic.
And the bible does teach children that it's right to kill people who happen to work on the day of the lord. Or to slaughter the people that happened to live in the promised land before the Lord's people arrived there.

The best thing would be to simply ban all books!
