frualeydisI had decided to make a red cotton version of the dress in my last post for christmas. Unfortunately I bought too little fabric and was forced to choose between piecing and actually leaving the house to go down town and get some fabric. Despite the snow and - 10 C it's rather nice outdoors, but I'm not well now so I opted for piecing. It may work, But I won't know until I've sewn the skirt together. I also have very little fabric left for facings and none for ties, so I guess the ties will have to be made from some other fabric.
