It works as an anti-depressant and a as stress reileif and without it I wouldn't survive. Not with one dperessed teenager and one who just refuses to go to school. I will also be unemployed from the 4th of April next year, but since I live in a civilized country and am a union member we will only be poor, not disastrously poor by that, since I get unemployment benefits. And if I'm lucky the application for research funding that I just sent in with two other PhDs, one in economic history and one etnology, may be approved. It is unlikely, since only 5 % get funding, but it is a good research project.

But, to get back to the sewing: I am currently making a princess line 1940s house dress from a Mail Order pattern that I won in the New Vintage Lady blog a year ago or so. Of course, since I am very curvy and not just fat I had to change the pattern a lot, but I think it will turn out well and then I'll have  princess line pattern that fit me, which is really useful.

I should be finished in two days and then I'll take photos.

what's up with the girls? Is the other twin also suffering from depression, or is she just really bored at school. There must be an underlying issue.

No, you don't need to tell me. I am just concerned, that's all.

Our kids, neither one has finished High School, thanks to their mum...Something Pierre and I worry about all the time. High school was tough on both of us, but after, so much better. Kids just don't understand that, do they. It does get better!

I'm so sorry to hear about your job and your twins' situation. I really hope it will be better soon. If you want some cheering up-treats from the UK, let me know. Unfortunately I can't give you a job, but if I had the contacts, I would let them know what awesome person you are.

The work thing really isn't that bad. Or well, it is, but I was working on a project and I've used up all the money and I always knew that it would end. And, as I said, I have good unemplyment benefits.

About the kids -well, we only hope that it will eventually get better. And they are kind and they don't drink and stay out late.
