A normal post this very abnormal day

frualeydisI just want to say that Denver fabrics are truly evil. They have lowered their price for the white silk dobby (dobby is a very simple weave pattern) that I have been eye-ing for a while to 3.98/yard. I had to buy it. Now, when I have very little money and need more fabric like I need a hole in my head. I ordered 12 yards for lining my murrey wool 1293 ensemble.
I have been sewing on my new black partlet that I cut out yesterday and it seems to com along nicely. It's in the same insanely expensive wool cloth that I used for the guards on the black gown. I'm lining it with a self striped white linen. Pictures will come when it's finished. And Rickard has finished my girdle which he hasn't worked on for a while. Today he's away playing Warhammer at the club and I miss him a lot.
