For myralea and other knitters

Do you know that in Moden 1790-1840 (in the book serie Danske dragter) there is a knitted empire dress that's at Nationalmuseum in Copenhagen? It's knitted in a lacy pattern from thin orange wool yarn!!
Wouldn't that be something for you Myra? They don't have a pattern in the book, but I guess one could make up something similar.
