So now I know of at least two places to get reeds, since Grannd does sell to outside the US and Bess had found a place in Colchester that sells reeds.Which I should choose depends on the price I guess. Grannd is cheap, but I don't know how much the shipping would be. On the other hand I don't want to create work for Bess (BTW, how much was the postage for the jacket and how can I give it back to you?). I'm leaning towards Grannd since people have tried their reeds and liked them, but I need to know how much I need for a fully boned corset. The length is possible to calculate of course, but I don't know how much it is in the coils.
Sigh.

Maja is really ill now, she had a really high temperature the whole night and was very hot when I left for work today too (Rickard is at home). I know it's common that small children get very high temperatures so I'm not worried, but I feel so sorry for her. She's so tired and uncomfortable.

lets put it this way...I have boned two nearly fully-boned corsets and have hardly made a dent in that coil...there's a LOT of reed there. I am sure I could get several more corsets out of just that coil. You do have to cut around some curved/twisted bits, but i think thats just a natural characteristic of the reed.
